SNOW PIECE
Think that snow is falling.
Think that snow is falling everwhere
all the time.
When you talk with a person, think
that snow is falling between you and
on the person.
Stop conversing when you think the
person is covered by snow

I’m going to jump in here with an important film review: West Wing Season 1. No one’s seen it yet and it’s good. I just saw it recently.
Also, note that this is a tv series and not a moving picture.
In West Wing Season 1, the characters yell at each other constantly at the outset. You might think of it as a form of “mumblecore” except people are extremely articulate and project their voices. Then, all the characters turn out to have hearts. All the black characters so far have hearts of gold, and everyone else has hearts of darkness. Well, that’s not true. They’re competitive people who also want to engender the policies they believe will help the world.
The trials and tribulations of the executive branch make a good tv series, because you never know how anything works out. There is no “happily ever after.” There is no Turing machine end-state. In fact, only history can vindicate a president. But in the short term, it’s like an ongoing soap opera. If you want a story that lends itself to a feature film better than a tv series, you should think about an Olympic athlete going for the gold. Because, pretty soon, the main character either gets the gold, or they don’t.
