30 June 2007 - 15:10Escape from LA

Tomorrow begins a week of vacaciones on the briny northern coast of Maine chez my in-law family. Perfect timing, as it’s getting to what I like to call the neck-sweat part of the summer. My in-law fam has acquired a recreational lobster fishing license, and they have a rugged little boat called the Red Lady. I’m told there are 10 traps set out and on Monday, we’re gonna go pull them up, and we’re going to go to an island with only sheep on it, build a fire, and eat those lobsters like seafaring neanderthals. I’ll post photos when I come back.
